Description
Selling at low price due to head gasket leak (it uses water, not oil) Suit home mechanic since would make a great everyday driver. Please call if you have any questions (messages may not be seen or answered). Registered till midnight on 29 September (can be renewed at buyer cost). Has handbook and logbook to 120,000 service (next due at 150,000 but needs head gasket). Apart from head gasket, other known meaningful faults are a tear in the drivers seat (see picture) and the paint is not great (see pictures) since it previously had faded paint and which has been rectified/stabilised to look presentable at a short distance except on a closer inspection the rectification is evident.. I would have kept the car as an everyday driver since it is a great town car except for the head gasket problem. The car has not been driven for around a year but it recently started and ran fine with a borrowed battery. I'd suggest arrange a trailer for anything other than a short trip. I've driven many manual cars, including Fiat 500's and this car is by far the easiest manual to drive. Has 2 keys. Not used by smokers or to transport pets. This version of the car has the FIRE engine rather than the more complex multiair version. Other items for attention are tailgate not opening electronically (ie opens manually) but I need to check if its just a fuse. Also minor kerb rash on wheels. Note that some extras can be sold to buyer at prices to be negotiated. See picture of extras such as a painting, some new front and rear Fiat badges, a toy Fiat 500, a new wheel cover (the other three present well but missing some plastic clips) and a new water expansion bottle.
