I was a founding member of the ACT Fiat Club. I will be interested to see what this club has to offer. So far, so good.

I have a soft spot for Italian and English cars - so when the chance came to own this 1962 'Giovanni Michelotti' designed Triumph TR4, with Factory Overdrive a warm cam in Wedgewood Blue I grabbed it. I love the European design influence, but under the skin its all 'TR' from the 'Triumph Racing' division. So racing chassie, balanced, low slung etc.. and such an involving experience to drive. I've had a few classics but this is something special. UK built on 1st Oct 1962 & dispatched from Gladstone Dock in Liverpool UK on 12th Oct 1962 aboard the vessel 'Lauraky' bound for Melbourne, Australia. Finished in Wedgewood Blue. The TR4 introduced a cleaner, more modern 60's look — crisp lines, power bulge & timeless European presence and classic stance just not seen in cars of today.
1978 Fiat X1/9
I’ve owned this Fiat X1/9 for about five years, and what started as a tidy little project quickly turned into a full restoration. Some of you may have followed the Green Machine series on YouTube and seen the journey along the way. The body was in great condition when I bought it, but almost everything else needed attention. As I worked through one area after another, each job uncovered something else that needed doing. Before long, the car was completely stripped down and rebuilt from the ground up. Over the years it’s been a labour of love, with countless hours spent restoring, upgrading and improving every part of the car to bring it back better than ever.
1969 Fiat 850 Spyder
Owned since 2000. I imported this car from California and spent 8 loooong years restoring it. It originally came with an 817cc engine which Fiat used in the '68 and '69 models to dodge new emission rules in the US. It is now fitted with an 843cc engine sourced from an 850 Special. Although slow by modern standards, it is an absolute sweetheart to drive, and draws lots of admiring looks from people.
1981 Fiat X1/9
Purchased in 2002 in Adelaide. Original condition. Well maintained. Driven regularly on FLCCSA club events.
2014 Fiat Panda
I purchased my Panda new in 2014. I wasn’t 100% sure I wanted another car but it was very discounted so I took it for a test drive. That sealed the deal. The amazing little TwinAir engine is a star. It puts a smile on my face every time I drive it, even after 60000km. It has many other virtues that help keep the romance alive. 😀❤️
1976 Fiat 124 Spider
This is my 1976 Fiat 124 Spider which was born out of tragedy. I had a 1977 Fiat spider in the same dark Red which met with an untimely demise... After receiving the bad news that repairing the car was not economical, i was on the hunt for a replacement when i received a message from a Vic club member who was about to advertise his Spider for sale. I made the trip down to Melbourne and did a deal on a car that had a good body, no rust and ok paint but was mechanically.... well ... stuffed. After about 2 months of swapping the drivetrain out as well as making a few(a lot) of improvements, i now have a much better car.
